What’s hot right now? - and what we think about it.

The wedding scene in Malaysia has always evolved — but recently, it’s been moving fast. From TikTok edits to content creators in kebayas running around with iPhones, we’re seeing more trends than ever.

We’re not here to bash trends. In fact, some of them? We love. But we also believe it’s important to pause, look deeper, and ask:

is this something we’ll still care about 10 years from now?

🎞️ 1. Wedding content creators with iPhones

Yes, it’s a thing now. And yes — some are really good at what they do.But what’s often misunderstood is the difference between a wedding content creator and a wedding storyteller.

Creators focus on the now — viral clips, trending audio, fast edits.Storytellers focus on emotion — pacing, reactions, sound, memory.

Both have a place. But if you’re choosing, know what you’re choosing for. One is for the feed. The other is for the heart.

🧠 2. Same-day edits are getting even faster (but not always better)

We’ve done them.We still do them.

But lately we’ve seen pressure on couples to expect a same-day edit — even if it means rushing through the most important parts.

Here’s our take: It’s okay to wait. A beautiful story doesn’t need to be instant. It needs to be intentional.

🎤 3. Audio is finally getting the attention it deserves

We’re genuinely happy about this one.

For years, people overlooked how much vows, speeches, prayers, and little whispers bring a wedding film to life. Now, more couples are asking for clean audio. Finally.

If you’re planning your wedding — here’s a tip:

Don’t just ask about the camera. Ask about the mic.

💡 So... what do we think?

We think it’s beautiful that couples now have options.

You want an aesthetic recap video for Instagram? Go for it.

You want a raw, heartfelt story to watch with your kids one day? Let’s make it.

Just remember:Trends come and go.

But feelings?

Those stay.
